Day 2 @ Plaza Singapura.


It was a bad rainy day, so in order to generate publicity, we donned our outfits and went to sing at the entrance of PS!
(btw from this day onwards we put on makeup before the performances)






































































i have NO idea what christabel is doing there but she looks SUPER out of place and she is standing in a SUPER funny position ^_^ hahahaah. EXTRA.



Not many turned up for the performance as it was raining fairly heavily and the stage was freaking hidden from anywhere.. i think you need a map to get there even if you were told how to get there. :S




















But our moods were not dampened! =)
Ok everyone looks normal in this picture (i know i have makeup that's besides the point) except christabel! i dunno why but she looks.. really weird. like.. unlike herself. -shrugs-. maybe it's just me


DAY 3 @ Tangs

Btw, it was Aunty Sheila (did i spell that right) who came down everyday to help us put on makeup!! She's really nice la! She spent like 2 hours +++ each night just to help us put on makeup and she never even charge anything for the makeup used / her time. (she's some freelance makeup artist or sth lidat)

zz, my internet is really laggy, i tried uploading one picture but it took forever so i'll just wait till another day.

but i'm not complaining about the quakes, just whining about slow internet. it is SO trivial, and many people are actually saying 'stupid earthquakes in taiwan! mess with our internet!' when those people there are more concerned with their lives and probably thousands have died.

on a side note, i need ppl to nag me to finish my homework. :/ i havent done anything the past 2 days although i told myself this whole week supposed to chiong finish. i'm 100% not going to be able to finish my HW, so i'm already mentally preparing myself for the scolding/excuses/punishment etc when school starts.

what a christmas eve. thanks -friend- for being so nice about it. i expected a harder time but you were SO nice and pleasant about it it just made it even harder for me.

i want to rant.

i'm just in the mood.

i just watched an episode of OC , and the music at the last scene was emo and it kinda triggered something in me. now i'm feeling a mixture of emotions that cannot be expressed easily in mere words. to try to divert my attention, i'll rant. These are just random thoughts that are in my head with no general idea.

1)
Why do girls get the nicer clothes? Just take the simple example of a prom -- the girls wear all their flashy bareback/ haltertops/longsleeves/ etcetc. (endless list), while the guys --- wear a collared shirt and/or a tux. Wow. talk about variety.

It's unfair! How come girls have so many different types of clothes while guys have so few! Why the fashion designers biased towards girls! lousy la! make more types of clothes for guys la!


2)
The infallible bet (refer to blog post 2 posts below) works dammit! i've had people telling me it's flawed or it wont work -- but none can give a reason why it won't. By logic, there's no way it fails!
It's not possible for any average /lousy soccer team to lose every single match in a season. Even the bottom team of the EPL will win one fluke game or something.
Then you may raise the point of the immensity of the value of doubling your bet -- it reaches infinity pretty fast. So you can adapt! Bet on a strong team! The only down side is that you wont win alot, but you'll definitely earn.


3)
I miss my classmates (just the ones im close to) but i dont wanna go back to school. i dread the waking up early, the homework, the long lectures, the long days. i miss john's nonsense, teehaos' weird noises, pamela's crapping, becky's laughter, fongie's suaning(of other people).
i want to have a holiday in school. how ironic.


4)
i hate not excelling in anything. i can do like SOO many things.. play drums, play guitar, bball, dota, blablabla. BUT, i do not excel in any of these. Not in bball team, never win any major dota competition, drums damn noob, guitar average... NOTHING i can say 'i am good at - '.
If i could choose, i would rather just excel in one thing and not be able to do so many others. I'd choose.. bball. =) so cool to be a pro bball player. a pro guitar player is cool too.

the infallible bet

wooo. I'm super unhealthy now. my cholestrol is probably quite high and my blood pressure also.

The past few nights have been eating supper at yassin / chompchomp and eating all the friedcarrotcake prata all these stuff. Then the other night had bomb-plaster-cheese at Yassin.. wa damn shiok.

then then. had dinner with candice/twins at newton hawker centre!
It was like my first time at the place though that's supposed to be some famous good food place.

It's super big la! it's like a foodcourt x2 with a nicer layout. We ordered
BBQ Stingray, FriedCarrotCake, Satay(3types), Baby Kailan, Murtabak!

Waaa it was super shiok and satisfying i tell you. The chilligravy of the BBQ Stingray was like ownage. It made all of us sweat like dogs though. (how did this expression come about anyway. dogs don't sweat i think, they lose heat through their tongues)


Anyway, i was just thinking of this concept of betting that i believe was introduced to me by daniel like super super super long time ago. Like when i was in p6 or sec1. I never really thought much about it until recently, and it makes alot of sense.


The Winning Bet
First, you need to have some decent capital. (money). Let's say.. a thousand dollars. If you have more better, but it's just in case. If you're lucky you don't need much.

Just pick a lousy football club.. somewhere near bottom half of mid table. Let's say.. Wigan Atheltic. Actually, it doesnt really matter what you bet on. Just bet on something with decent odds, like relatively high but not impossible. (e.g. bet against Arsenal when they're playing against Punggol FC)
Let's say you start off with 1 dollar. Let's say you lose. Oh ok, you lose 1 dollar.
You bet again on their next match, but DOUBLE your bet. e.g. 2 dollars.
If you lose, keep on doubling your bet.
When you win, you'll recoup everything you have lost. When you win, restart from your original start sum. If you're ambitious, restart with double of your original start sum.

Unless the team sets a world record for most matches lossed, there's NO WAY you can ever lose in this! You will always win money eventually, and come on, every club definitely will win. I don't think there has ever been a season where there was an EPL club that won 0 matches.

So.. when you get rich, remember me alright. =)

The 3rd night in a row when there was skit practice.. the CCIS thing. This time was more fun because it was almost fulldress, just no costumes only. Quite interesting to see everyone emoting.
In case you didn't know, i'm the FOOTMAN. My role is like 10 seconds. haha.


ANYWAY, they bought these kiddy crowns for the 3 kings daniel/cheryl/ham. =) so i just got people to wear them and took pictures. =)

ok, that's all the hats pictures i have. just to end, i'm here to tell you NOT to buy BK Student Meal at Compass Point (@ Sengkang MRT) or McDonalds Student Meal at the same place.

1) For mcdonalds, they still serve the fries in the smallest packet and they just stuff it fuller when you UPSIZE it. By right a studentmeal upsized should be equal a normal EVM packet size.

2) For Burger King, i did NOT upsize the drink and it was PATHETIC. Like a freaking kids meal size.


Ok here's a comparison between an upsized Mcdonalds drink and a non-upsized BK drink:

Huh what? the BK cup looks wider and fatter? noooooo. it's just an illusion. look at this.



Damn cheat money la!!! ok i know it isn't very obvious from the pictures but seriously, the cup is exactly the kiddie size. Go buy a Mcdonalds happy meal and you'll know the size.

Woo, finally had time to post some pictures, finally got my bluetooth dongle thingy to work, so those that i have on my own phone and from vivian's are up!


Well the Tweens Camp just ended.. was super tiring. I think it wasn't very good in the sense that the days were too long, and the duration of camp was too short. E.g. i felt pretty bonded to my group only after the 2nd day.. then.. bye bye.
It should have been 3 days, or even 4 days. And the days were seriously too long, 8am-5pm, everyone was like deadbeat after each day.


Anyway, first day was at the Zoo! There were 15 stations with puzzles to solve etc etc. Then must go from station to station and write down some info from that place. My group came in first!! lions!!(my group name) roar!

yes i know unusual name.. but he's super cute la omg!! He's got a super cute adorable smile and is friendly. Cute kids who are not friendly aren't really that cute.
I was playing with him cos he was in my group.. just carried him and jumped up then faster squat down so he's like falling through air. haha. he's about 18kg so i could do that. Then i super tired cos it aint exactly easy jumping with 18kg of weight.. then he kept asking me to do.
Then then, at the last part of the camp he ask me take picture with him! so cute! =D




Then verlene felt left out so she jumped in then asked to take photo also. They're both so cute laaaa. ahhhh. -faints-

hahaha. adorable!! gahhh he's so cute.

Uncle chengguan's kids are super friendly la. Like i never talked to Dana (his daughter) before , never even waved at her before. Then today cos she and david were around as uncle chengguan had choir practice, so i waved at her.. and she waved and smile back!!



AH so sorry the quality of this pic is bad cos we were at the stairs (had to bring them there cos they kept laughing and dana laughs super loudly) and it's quite dark there.
I was teaching him to pose suavely with that.. pose. JUST LOOK AT HIM! HE'S SO CUTE
